In German, Companions, or Weggefährten, is a hybrid word that translates literally as “those who walk the path together”. Through tenderness, touch, and intuition, Wernicke’s camera follows this path—capturing moments of joy, emotion, and play between humans and animals—seeking to bridge the gap between our emotional consciousness and that of the other beings with whom we share our world.
