Currently on display at 834 MIBU is a seasonal rotating library presenting a curated selection of publications by Loose Joints.
834 MIBU is an independent, Kyoto-based artist residency housed within a historic Ko-Machiya townhome. Established in 2024, the residency hosts photographic artists, publishers, and writers engaged in the field of photography.
The program is open to practitioners working with photography and is founded on the principles of advancing the work of artists and publishers while providing a dedicated environment conducive to the development and completion of projects for exhibition or publication.
In addition to private accommodation, the residency provides access to a range of resources and amenities that support artistic research and production.
